Your grandmother will be in the Medicare program which does not have this provision. Instead, due to the reduction of Medicare coverage and the discontinuance of Medicare Advantage, your grandmother will most likely have a very reduced type of medical care in every way. Home health costs are reduced, hospital stays and doctors will be penalized if they do more care than what is outlined in the ACA.
